1. Our Commitment

Clémence de Lafosse offers a complimentary repair service for one year following the delivery of each garment.

This service reflects our commitment to craftsmanship and the longevity of every piece we create.

The service is provided in addition to the customer’s statutory warranty rights.

2. Repairs Covered

​

Our complimentary repair service covers minor repairs resulting from normal wear and use, where technically possible.

These may include:

• Minor seam repairs

• Loose stitching

• Reattachment of buttons or original components

• Minor repairs to garment finishes

Complimentary repairs are offered up to a cumulative value of €50 per garment during the one-year period.

Repair work is valued at €25 per hour, plus the cost of any materials required. The €50 allowance covers labour and materials combined.

Each request is assessed individually, taking into account the garment’s construction, materials and condition.

3. Exclusions and Additional Repairs

​

The complimentary repair service does not cover major accidental damage, improper care, misuse or significant alterations.

Repairs requiring extensive reconstruction or replacement of unavailable materials may not be possible.

If a repair exceeds the remaining complimentary allowance, a quotation will be provided for the additional amount before any work begins.

No additional work will be carried out without the customer’s agreement.

These exclusions apply only to the voluntary repair service and do not affect statutory warranty rights.

4. How to Request a Repair

​

To request a repair, please contact info@clemencedelafosse.com within one year of delivery.

Please include your order number, a description of the issue and photographs of the garment.

We will assess the request and provide instructions for sending the garment to our atelier.

Please do not send garments without prior confirmation.

5. Shipping Costs

​

For repairs provided under this voluntary complimentary repair service, customers are responsible for shipping costs both to and from our atelier.

Where a repair is required under statutory warranty law, necessary shipping costs will be covered by Clémence de Lafosse in accordance with applicable law.

6. Duration and Territorial Coverage

​

The complimentary repair service applies to garments purchased directly from Clémence de Lafosse, either through our website or by email.

The service is valid for one year from the date of delivery.

It is available to customers worldwide, subject to applicable shipping regulations and the practical possibility of transporting the garment to our atelier in Germany.

The €50 allowance is cumulative per garment throughout the one-year period and does not renew after each repair.

8. Statutory Warranty Rights

​

Consumers are entitled by law to remedies from the seller, free of charge, in the event of defective or non-conforming goods.

These statutory rights are not restricted or replaced by our complimentary repair service.

The one-year duration, €50 allowance, exclusions and shipping conditions described in this policy apply exclusively to the voluntary repair service.

They do not limit any rights or remedies available under applicable consumer protection law.
